Our CEO and leading Interior Designer, Eileen Middleton, is a multi-award winning and knowledgeable director. With a Bachelors of Built Environment – Interior Design and a Diploma in Building Design Eileen has inspired many clients over her 20 years involvement in design and construction.
Revered by many well-known local builders and trades that collaborate with her to complete clients work to quality standards. Eileen has fully embraced her passion by creating a soulful design studio and showroom. It has become a meeting point that has helped her build a successful business based on great relationships with clients and collaborators. Eileen has been able to enjoy creating innovative spaces for her clients that both herself and her clients are honoured to stand behind.
From design concept through to construction and installation of furniture and soft furnishings, Eileen is driven by her desire to make sure that every aspect of each project is completed to perfection and to the satisfaction of her clients. Travelling – throughout Europe, France Germany, Italy to cabinet making firms, fittings & material manufacturers and tile manufactures has given Eileen a unique insight into products and new design trends that are only available through experience. Eileen has always been a great mentor to her team and dedicated to new technology to express their design talent.
ANDY HOOI - SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
Bachelor of Interior Design (RMIT)
Andy is our CAD extraordinaire bringing many of our company projects to fruition by delivering CAD documents on time to meet the building program. His specialty, and favourite role, is hand drawn perspectives and colour rendering. Prior to graduation from RMIT in Melbourne with a bachelor’s in Interior Design, Andy gained invaluable experience working at a popular shop fit-out company in Singapore. After years of international experience, Andy joined the Interiority design team and has been a valuable member for more than 10 years.
Through his study and experience, Andy has become cultured in all stages of Interior Design, and is familiar with photoshop and other graphic design programs. Andy has proven to be a master of hand drawing and Interior details. As a result of participating in many projects over the years, Andy is as comfortable on the construction site collaborating with builders and trades advising on client expectations during the process. Project costing prior to construction is another unique quality Andy has experience with.

DRUCE DAVEY - INTERIOR DESIGNER

Introducing the newest member of our team, Dru, an esteemed figure in the interior design industry with a remarkable 18-year journey. Specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects, Druce is renowned for his ability to exceed expectations with exceptional design solutions. Proficient in graphic documentation using SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop, he crafts visually captivating designs that inspire awe. Druce’s dedication to environmentally and socially responsible design has earned him international recognition and prestigious ambassadorial roles. Having completed approximately 800 projects across Australia, collaborating with leading architects, universities, and non-profit organizations, Druce brings a wealth of expertise to every project. From concept to execution, Druce ensures successful outcomes and delighted clients, making him an invaluable addition to any project team.
Dru is also known for his role as Lead Interior Designer for Jamie Oliver’s ‘Ministry of Food’ projects in Australia. Collaborating with the renowned English Chef and TV personality, Druce spearheaded the design and delivery of Ministry of Food Centres across the country, including large-scale hospitality fit-outs and classroom kitchens in articulated trucks. His portfolio extends to designing Jamie’s Head Office in Melbourne and creating sets for Jamie’s ‘Super Food Family Classics’ TV series. Druce’s designs resonate with Jamie’s passion for sustainability, inspiring people to embrace cooking healthy meals from scratch.

JACK BARCLAY - INTERIOR DESIGNER & ADMINISTRATION
Bachelor of Design - Interior Architecture (QUT)
Jack has always aspired to work in the Interior Design industry, where he can blend his creative and technical skills. This desire fuelled his excitement when, during his second year of studying a Bachelor of Design in Interior Architecture at QUT, an opportunity arose at Eileen Middleton Interiors. Jack, being the holder of the Academic Achievement Award 20/21 for QUT’s creative industry, naturally fell into his new role.
Jack manages logistics, accounts and marketing while also collaborating with the other designers to select fixtures, finishes and furniture pieces. Jack is looking forward to putting into practice his study and developing his talents in design software and various graphic design programs. As an interior design assistant and an administrator Jack works closely with our clients, suppliers, and manufacturers, making his contribution to the EMI team highly valued.
Our quaint Buderim showroom is Jack’s refuge, one in which he is very proud to work at and one in which he happily takes responsibility for ensuring the showroom is up-to-date displaying new design trends and evoking a welcoming atmosphere.
